Julia Mason is developing her practice in Directors and Officers liability coverage and insurance defense. She serves as insurance coverage and monitoring counsel and specializes in claims under Directors and Officers, Employment Practices and Professional Liability policies. As monitoring counsel, Ms. Mason handles all forms of civil litigation against corporate officers and directors, including securities fraud litigation under federal and state laws, investigations by governmental agencies, shareholder derivative suits, and employment practices claims.
Ms. Mason is a graduate of Carleton College and Boston College Law School. After law school, she clerked for Chief Justice Philip Rapoza of the Massachusetts Appeals Court and for the New Hampshire Superior Court.
