Michael Griffin's civil litigation practice focuses on the defense of products liability, medical malpractice and professional liability claims. He has defended numerous medical malpractice claims, including cases involving catastrophic injuries and death, against physicians, nurses, psychologists, clinical social workers and nursing home facilities. He has extensive experience in the trial of cases in both state and federal courts and is also experienced in the use of mediation, arbitration and other alternative dispute resolution methods in resolving cases. Mr. Griffin also maintains an active commercial and business litigation practice, representing a variety of public and private companies in litigation and related matters. He has served as a faculty member for continuing legal education programs and is a member of the American Bar Association, Boston Bar Association and Defense Research Institute.
