Cortney Godin Selected for the ABA TIPS Leadership Academy
Peabody & Arnold litigation Partner Cortney Godin is one of 25 attorneys selected for the 2018-2019 class of the American Bar Association (ABA) Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section (TIPS) Leadership Academy. The TIPS Leadership Academy brings together a diverse group of emerging leaders from across the United States. The Academy seeks to nurture effective leadership, increase leadership diversity, build relationships amongst leaders and raise awareness of issues facing the legal profession. Through the program, participants are imparted with knowledge and skills necessary to develop a vision to lead the legal profession and to improve leadership in the community as a whole.
Founded in 1878, the ABA is one of the world’s largest voluntary professional organizations with nearly 400,000 members. The Tort Trial and Insurance Practice Section of the ABA was founded in 1933 and has over 1,650 members. More information on the ABA TIPS Leadership Academy can be found here.
