Elti advises and represents US and London-based insurers in complex transactional liability claims arising from mergers & acquisitions in the financial services, technology, life sciences, defense, manufacturing, and retail industries. He has experience investigating breaches of representations and warranties relating to various corporate matters, including financial statements, corporate governance, regulatory, material contracts, intellectual property, condition of assets, data privacy, and other matters. Elti works closely with claims counsel, technical experts, and insureds to assess and reach efficient resolutions to highly sensitive claims involving alleged losses ranging up to hundreds of millions of dollars.
Prior to joining Peabody & Arnold, Elti clerked for the Honorable C. Jeffrey Kinder of the Massachusetts Appeals Court and interned for the Honorable William G. Young of the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
Elti earned his J.D. from Boston University School of Law and a B.A. in International Relations from Tufts University. As an undergraduate, he was a Coordinator of the Judge David S. Nelson and Reginald C. Lindsay Fellowships based in the U.S. District Court for the District of Massachusetts.
