Peabody & Arnold attorney Avana Epperson-Temple was recently appointed by the Massachusetts Superior Court to the Business Litigation Session (BLS) Advisory Committee. The BLS “provides a forum for business and commercial disputes which, because of their complexity, will benefit from individualized and collaborative case management.” The BLS aims to provide “consistency, predictability, and efficiency in areas of litigation where those qualities are particularly important.” More information on the BLS can be found here. As part of the BLS Advisory Committee, Avana will be responsible for analyzing possible changes to the Massachusetts Superior Court Rules and advising the BLS as to implications of same. Avana will also be responsible for advising the BLS relative to its efficiency and case management concerns.
