Harvey Weiner Elected President of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Federal Bar Association
Peabody & Arnold LLP partner Harvey Weiner was elected president of the Massachusetts Chapter of the Federal Bar Association (“FBA”), a one-year term beginning October 1, 2017. The FBA represents the federal legal profession and consists of more than 19,000 federal lawyers, including 1,500 federal judges, who work together to promote the sound administration of justice and integrity, quality and independence of the judiciary. The FBA also provides opportunities for scholarships and for judges and lawyers to interact professionally and socially.
The Massachusetts Chapter is one of the FBA’s largest chapters and has won numerous national awards. Harvey previously served as President-elect, Vice President, Secretary, and as a Board member. He recently addressed and presented Chapter-funded scholarships to the twelve Judge David S. Nelson fellows at their graduation.
