Peabody & Arnold lawyers have a long tradition of giving back to the community. Two service awards, one national and one local, have been named after Peabody & Arnold lawyer John Brooks, a longtime Peabody & Arnold lawyer who was active in supporting pro bono legal services.
We have an active pro bono practice serving those in need of legal services in the federal courts and courts throughout the Commonwealth. Lawyers at the firm have served as president of six different bar associations and many serve on boards of legal service organizations and committees.
In addition to straight legal services, lawyers in our firm volunteer for town and city boards and committees, including assuming leadership roles in local youth sports, schools and colleges. We encourage our associates to participate in pro bono activities and have a senior lawyer in charge of oversight of all of our pro bono work.
