Peabody & Arnold Partner, Susan E. Cohen, recently spoke as a senior trial attorney panelist at the Boston University School of Law Second Annual “Bench Meets Bar” event.  The Panel discussion was moderated by Judith Fabricant, Chief Justice of the Massachusetts Superior Courts.  Panel discussion covered keys to success in legal practice in and out of the courtroom and personal anecdotes as to career trajectories and challenges.  The panel also fielded questions from the many attorneys and law students attending the event.

Susan’s practice focuses on the defense of professionals including attorneys, accountants and others.  She also provides mediation and arbitration services, mentors young lawyers in the business and practice of law and is President of the Frank J. Murray Inn of Court, part of a National Bench – Bar organization designed to promote legal excellence, collegiality, civility, professionalism and ethics within the legal profession.  Susan is a BU Law alumnus honored by Massachusetts Lawyers Weekly as one of 2018’s Top Women of Law and has been designated as a Super Lawyer in the field of Professional Liability Defense from 2011 to the present.  Susan writes and lectures frequently to professional groups.
