In honor of Veterans Day, Harvey Weiner, as president of the Federal Bar Association Mass. Chapter, recently initiated and supervised a first “Wills for Veterans Day” in Massachusetts.  Seven local attorneys who concentrate their practices in estate planning donated their services.  Twenty-three veterans and nine spouses had their wills, durable powers of attorneys, and health care proxies drafted and executed.  The veterans came from nineteen different cities and towns from across the state, including Springfield, Brockton, Bourne and Boxborough.  All seven attorneys volunteered to participate again next year.
